Agriturismo La Steccaia Alta Placed in a strategic position from where you could reach easily art cities, medieval towns, Tyrrhenian coast, La Steccaia Alta, our biological farm, it is along one of the most famous wine route of Maremma: Montecucco, Monteregio, Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino.
Our farmhouse, placed on a hillside, is enclosed from a shady cypress avenue where you feel the effect of an excellent ventilation even during the warm summer days.
Every flat is totally furnished and it has a double room, a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower.
The town of Paganico is 2 Km away from La Steccaia Alta and you could find all the things you need: supermarket, bank and cash dispenser, post office, shops, drugstore, doctor etc.
The bus stop to reach Grosseto and the seaside or Siena and Florence is at the end of the shady cypress avenue.
You could go for a walk in the Mediterranean bush and meet with roes, fallow deer, boars, porcupines and foxes or you could look for herbs and wild fruits.
We also have a tariff agreement with a riding school so, if you want, you could ride or drive in a carriage.
If you like boating (the coast is 30 Km far) you have the possibility to be taken by a federal instructor.
Other activities you can do are trekking and mountain bike journeys.
We have a swimming pool, barbecue, ping-pong and other facilities.
In our farm we also cultivate saffron that we harvest and pack in pistils.
